Thunderstorms Threaten Glastonbury

Glastonbury festival-goers should brace themselves for “torrential thunderstorms” over the weekend, forecasters have warned.

Glastonbury Line Up Announced

So finally the wait is over, and Eavis seems to have done himself proud!

The full line up for Glastonbury Festival is absolutely mega – and features previously announced headliners, Bruce Springsteen and Blur.

Joining them will be the likes of, Deadmau5, Joe Lean and The Jing Jang Jong, Roots Manuva, The Streets, Franz Ferdinand and The Prodigy. For the full line up click here.

Glastonbury Festival is held at Worthy Farm, Pilton. Tickets for the event have now sold out.


Blur confirm themselves for Glastonbury Festival

Another paper has propelled another headliner into the spot light.

This time The Mirror has quoted Blur frontman, Damon Alban as saying “We’re doing Glasto this year. We were asked last year, but we turned them down. we need a few more warm-up gigs to get back into it, ready for the big one. Glastonbury’s great.”

Tickets for Glastonbury Festival held for five full days from Wednesday 24th until Sunday 28th June 2009 at Worthy Farm, Pilton Somerset have already sold out months before the event.

A further release of a limited number of cancelled tickets will go on sale from 9am on Sunday 5th April 2009, although in order to do so you must have already registered.

Tickets will be priced at £175 (plus a booking fee of £5)
